VEGAN HOLIDAY NOG
I make this delicious vegan version of egg nog for Christmas wanted to share it with you!
Ingredients:
1/2 avocado
1 large ripe frozen banana (peel ripe bananas ahead of time and break into 1 inch chunks, freeze over night – I always keep a bin of frozen bananas in my freezer for smoothies)
1 cup of rice milk or coconut milk
1 tsp of lemon juice (about 1/4 of a fresh lemon squeezed)
1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Extras: cinnamon stick for garnish, crushed candy canes/mints for rim of glass
Blend ingredients together in your blender and serve! You can also pour into a pitcher and chill in the freezer, or serve over ice. Pour into your favorite glass, or National Lampoon’s moose glass and serve.
